Tom Moulton - Inventor of 12" maxi disco single + First DJ-Remixer

Inventor of 12" maxi disco single was DJ and producer Tom Moulton who first had begun to mix two 7" - 45rpm singles of the same song in order to create longer versions - more danceable tracks. He did about 300 remixes between 1974 and 1977 on both 7" and 12" format.
